  We came up from Wisconsin for Air Force graduation and wanted an authentic experience... well this was perfect! The atmosphere and our waiter (Jeff) was perfect! Highly recommend to visitors. Yes the food was great too!

  You can't get a better seafood lunch without driving all the way to the coast. We drove down from Birmingham for a lunch with my brother who goes to school in Montgomery. We sat out on the patio and were immediately served the best sweet tea I have had outside of my personal homemade. The waitress was extremely sweet, explained any questions we had about the menu, and brought us anything extra we needed. We ate at about 1400, so the place was not too crowded. I have not had as clean tasting oysters as I have had here. They were the kind that made me sit there and want to chew them and then want to go back for more. Their horseradish just added that extra kick to the oysters. The gator tail appetizers was extremely tasty too. I had the catfish platter with double slaw for my lunch, but wish I had had one slaw and an order of their fries (which are seasoned fries and so good too). I had been craving catfish after just driving across country and it hit the spot. It was not overpriced in any way, extremely fast service for a fresh cooked meal, and worth the two hour drive from Birmingham.

  The raw oysters were delicious. However, at 7 pm, they were out of boiled shrimp. My friend ordered the tilapia and it was really lacking in flavor. She added lemon but that didn't help. The baked potato was not thoroughly cooked. I doubt we will go back.
