  My husband and I went there today and got a few cupcakes. He got the cookie dough. When he was on his last bite, he found a fingernail in the cupcake. It was CLIPPED fingernail. This is gross!!! I call to talk to the manager, she was not there. I told the girl that answered what had happened. She expressed unbelief. She said that she would tell the manager and she would call us. We have yet to hear from her. We will not go there again!!!

  2 stars for customer service & presentation. The clerk was friendly & the cupcakes are indeed pretty. But 3 stars off for taste, quality, and price. First off the cake itself is either dry & flavorless, or dense & heavy like an undermixed muffin. The tower of frosting tries to hide that fact, & would've succeeded if it wasn't just a sickening pile of one-dimensional sugar. I've tried chocolate, yellow cake, red velvet & apple pie...ALL suffered from the same looks-better-than-it-tastes syndrome. Even if the frosting was redeemable, it takes up 75% of the cupcake, so you're being overcharged for whipped sugar! Finally, they charge you for a regular cupcake what other local (better) bakeries charge for a jumbo. If this is what a cupcake franchise is like no wonder the fad is dying fast...

  Horrible! I must be gluten free. I ordered gluten free in advance and had my husband pick them up. Unfortunately, they sold him an unsafe cupcake. It made me very sick. I called and was told the manager was not available and wouldn't be back for a few days. I left a message, but was advised to call back. I called back and there was still no manager available. I left my name and number and asked for a return call. Still no call. I left a message on their facebook page and got no response there either. I will not go back to the Montgomery location.

  Yesterday ( 01/27/2017 ) as I walked into to Gigis Cupcakes of Montgomery, Al I was in total SHOCK!!! I opened the door I am assuming it was shift change because a lady was leaving. She was fussing and all I caught was " I'm gonna turn my f*king keys in! " The lady was a short lady with a short brown pixie cut! The lady behind the counter, Bailey apologized for this several times, as I told her it wasn't her fault! Bailey helped me pick out some cupcakes with great customer service! She truly knows what " southern hospitality " is!!
